Frisörerna
A contemporary digital expression of one of Skellefteå’s established hair salons, shaped by more than three decades of craft, individuality and personal connection.
Frisörerna didn't need to reinvent who they were. Our role was to translate the character, confidence and experience already present in the salon into a digital experience that felt unmistakably theirs.
Deliverables
Web Strategy, Web Design, Framer Development, Responsive Design, Motion & Interaction
Location
Skellefteå, Sweden
The Challenge
Frisörerna has been part of Skellefteå since 1994, built around skilled craftsmanship and genuine relationships between hairdresser and client.
The challenge was to bring that established identity online without losing the personality and human connection that had sustained the business for more than three decades.
The website needed to feel less like a salon directory and more like a digital window into Frisörerna.
Strategic Clarity
We began by defining what the website actually needed to accomplish.
Reflect an established but contemporary salon
Communicate philosophy beyond services and trends
Put the individual hairdressers at the centre
Make services, prices and practical information easy to find
Create a natural path from discovery to personal contact
Result: A focused digital strategy built around the qualities that already made Frisörerna successful. Craft, personality, experience and human connection.

Brand Systems
Rather than creating a new brand, we translated the existing identity into a coherent digital system.
Clear hierarchy for philosophy, people, services and practical information
Modular one-page structure
Consistent typography and spacing
Cohesive Framer component system
Responsive desktop, tablet and mobile experience
Direct booking and contact pathways
Result: A structured digital framework that gives Frisörerna greater consistency online while remaining recognisably their own.

Visual Systems
Photography became central to bringing the real character of the salon into the digital experience.
Working with photographer Paulina Holmgren, we developed an intimate, confident and editorial visual language built around real people, real craft and the physical environment.
Art-directed photography
Individual hairdresser portraits
Close-up details of hair, texture, tools and movement
Large editorial compositions
Generous negative space
Subtle motion and scroll interactions
Restrained interface placing photography at the centre
Result: A visual experience that feels elevated and contemporary without becoming detached from the real salon and people behind it.

Narrative & Content
We structured the website as a continuous introduction to Frisörerna. Moving from personality and philosophy into people, craft and practical information.
Salon philosophy and point of view
History and heritage
Individual hairdresser introductions
Craft and atmosphere
Services and pricing
Booking and contact
Location and essential visitor information
Philosophy → People → Craft → Services → Contact
Result: A simple content journey that allows visitors to understand who Frisörerna are before asking them to choose a service or make contact.

The Outcome
Frisörerna already had more than three decades of history, experience and relationships behind the business.
Visual Oasis gave that existing identity a contemporary digital expression.
The completed project delivered:
A stronger and more contemporary online presence
A clear digital expression of the existing brand
A website centred around the people behind the salon
Original photography reflecting the real environment and craft
Simple access to services, pricing and practical information
Direct pathways from interest to personal contact
A responsive system across desktop, tablet and mobile
The result is more than a place to find prices or book an appointment.
It gives prospective clients a sense of the people, philosophy and atmosphere behind Frisörerna before they ever walk through the door.
An established physical identity, translated into a digital experience.
