A Summer of Exploration and Inspiration

This summer took us far and wide, geographically, creatively, and in the way we see the road ahead for Visual Oasis.

I spent my days under a sun that felt almost tropical, even in the far north of Sweden and Norway. The fjords shimmered in turquoise and emerald, and there were moments in Norway that felt like standing in an Arctic Caribbean, with crystal waters, white beaches, and mountains rising straight from the sea. That kind of beauty does not just refill your creative tank, it blows the lid off it.

Michael’s Encounters with Visionaries

Michael went south, and far beyond, soaking up the warm pulse of southern Sweden, the lush green hills of Ireland, and the vibrant energy of Kenya. There, he crossed paths with several successful entrepreneurs, each with their own stories of vision, resilience, and building something from nothing. Between these conversations, he also found time to be in the presence of elephants, an experience that brings its own kind of perspective and grounding.

Family, Reflection, and Connection

Both of us are family men, so this time away was as much about connection at home as it was about exploration. Long days with loved ones, away from the usual pace of work, gave us space to reflect on what really matters and how we want to shape the future of Visual Oasis.

Now we are back, not just rested, but recharged with a clarity that comes from stepping away and seeing the world from different angles. Travel has a way of reminding you that creativity is not something you turn on when you sit down at a desk. It is something you feed through experience, conversation, and moments that move you deeply, whether that is standing on a mountaintop in Norway or sharing space with the gentle giants of Africa.

Looking Ahead to New Horizons

The future is looking electric. Barcelona is calling, and we are already making plans to be there for Barcelona Design Week, to immerse ourselves in global creativity, connect with visionary thinkers, and bring even more inspiration back to the work we do.
